Corrections and Right of Reply
Effective 2026-08-01 · Last updated 2026-09-12
Our commitment
We publish records about named businesses. That obliges us to be correctable. Every vendor named on this site has a standing right to have a record reviewed, and to have a response published alongside it.
How to request a correction
A public corrections inbox has not been designated. We will not invent an email, phone number, or mailing address. Until an operator-provided address is published here, there is no official destination for a correction request. That gap is left visible rather than filled with a guessed inbox.
When an address is published, send:
- the page URL and the specific statement at issue;
- what you say is inaccurate, and what the accurate position is;
- any document supporting that position (a laboratory report, an invoice, a dated screenshot).
You do not need a lawyer, and you do not need to threaten one. A plain email is enough.
What happens next
Once a designated inbox exists and a request reaches it:
- Acknowledgement within 3 business days.
- Substantive response within 10 business days.
- If we confirm an error, we correct it promptly and add a dated correction note to the page. We do not delete corrections silently.
- If we cannot confirm the claim, we say so and explain what evidence we hold. Where the disagreement is genuine, we will publish your response of up to 150 words alongside the record.
- If a record is disputed and under review, the page will say so while we work.
Those timelines cannot start until a contact address is designated.
What we will not do
We will not remove an accurate, sourced record because it is unflattering. We will not accept payment, advertising, or any other consideration in exchange for changing, removing, or improving a record — see Monetization Disclosure.
Removal from the directory
A vendor may ask to be excluded from the directory and from price collection. We will honour that request, and the vendor's entry will state that the listing was withdrawn at the vendor's request. The same contact gap applies until an address is published here.
Reporting a problem as a reader
Found a broken source, a stale price, or a claim that does not match its citation? The same undesignated-contact gap applies. Reader reports are how most errors reach us once an inbox exists.
