Vendor directory

Our vendor index is derived from The Peptide Watch (https://thepeptidewatch.com), published as an open dataset under CC BY 4.0. We attribute it in the directory itself and link both the dataset and the licence. Our additions — matching, normalisation, evidence state, and presentation — are our own work.

Laboratory records

Batch and audit records reference documents published by third-party laboratories or by vendors themselves. We link to the source rather than rehosting it wherever the source is publicly reachable and stable. We record the document's stated date, the named party, and the verification status reported by the issuing laboratory.

Boundary: a record describes the named sample or listing as documented. It is not a test of a vendor's current stock, and it is not our own laboratory finding. We do not commission testing.

Price observations

Prices are captured from publicly accessible vendor listing pages. Each observation stores the price, the currency, the unit, and the timestamp at which it was observed.

Our collection practices:

• we read only publicly available pages — no accounts, no paywalls, no authentication bypass;
• we cap how many requests run concurrently, and time out rather than retry aggressively;
• we store observations, not copies of vendor page content;
• we stop on request from any vendor who asks — see Corrections.

Prices go stale. Every observation is displayed with the date it was captured. A displayed price is a record of what we saw, not an offer, a quote, or a current price.

Research citations

Research claims cite primary sources — FDA, NIH, PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov — and link to them directly. Mechanism and animal studies are labelled as such and never stand in for human outcomes. Our evidence-maturity framework is documented in How we evaluate evidence.

Reuse of our data

Our compilation, evidence states, and editorial text are ours. You may cite and link to us freely with attribution. Bulk extraction or building a substitute product from our compiled data is not permitted — see Terms of Use.
